Ombres et Lumières : L’Héritage des Mendelssohn
Pour cette toute première édition de Zadig and Friends, le Trio Zadig célèbre l’univers contrasté et bouleversant de Fanny et Felix Mendelssohn. À travers des œuvres de ces deux figures emblématiques du romantisme allemand — l’une longtemps restée dans l’ombre, l’autre devenu une icône de son temps — nous explorons les tensions entre lumière intérieure et reconnaissance publique.
Ce voyage musical sera enrichi par les voix de leurs proches amis et contemporains : Clara et Robert Schumann, et Johannes Brahms. Ensemble, ces compositeurs forment une constellation d’âmes liées par l’amitié, l’amour, et une passion commune pour la musique de chambre.

For the very first edition of Zadig and Friends, Trio Zadig invites you into the poignant and radiant world of Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn. Through works by these two iconic figures of German Romanticism—one whose genius remained in the shadows for too long, and the other celebrated in his time—we explore the tension between inner brilliance and public recognition.
This musical journey is enriched by the voices of their close friends and contemporaries: Clara and Robert Schumann, and Johannes Brahms. Together, they form a constellation of artists bound by friendship, love, and a shared passion for chamber music.
